Common FAQ’s
A semi automatic machine, is a machine that requires operator input to complete the task. For instance, our CC1440 benchtop machine is semi automatic. This is because it requires the operator to place the bottle into a cradle or clamp and place the cap onto the container. The machine then tightens the cap on the bottle to a specific torque, once an operator has initiated the sequence.
A fully automatic machine, is a machine that requires no operator input to complete the task. Only supervision is required enabling on operator to work on multiple machines. A great example of a fully automated machine is our Mini Mono, it can feed in every part required to build up the product. So for example if you had a roller ball deodorant and you wanted to fully automate the fill and assembly of this product then Mini Mono would bring the bottle into the machine, fill the bottle, then place the ball into the bottle and finally cap the bottle. All without any user input.
We offer a 12 month parts and labour warranty with all of our products, so in the unlikely event you have an issue within the first 12 months we will remedy this.
No, we have many clients around the world that work within the confines of a clean room environment. Most of our machines also come in stainless steel variants to help conform. The CC1160 is a prime example of this and many have been fitted into pharmaceutical grade clean rooms.
We do advise all our machines are service annually, we have a team of dedicated engineers ready to keep your machines in tip top condition.
Our machines are available ATEX rated as an optional extra. As standard the machines are rated as IP44 only, but can be optioned to your specification.
We install our machines if required, smaller machines such as the Delta Fill and CC1440 don’t always require installation. All other machines will be installed by ourselves unless requested otherwise.
We are extremely proud to be able to ensure a high level of service, experience and honestly through your journey. From the point of contact right through to the installation of the machine, one sales engineer will deliver the sale. Offering one to one advice throughout your journey with us. You are able to view the progress of the machine throughout the various stages of the machine build and of course we offer onsite FAT’s and installation. Once more you will get support throughout the life of the machine.
Absolutely, we do this all the time. If you have an existing production line we have many products to suite and can adapt any machine to suite your needs. Take the CC570 for example, this machine fits over an existing conveyor and even its safety equipment can be integrated to those that may already exist.
We certainly can, do you know we have a specific product for limited space applications. Have a look at our Micro Mono, it’s the best in the industry for its features vs footprint.
Most of our machines will require a compressor to run and we can help you source one through our brilliant partners. However, some of our machines can be optioned with mini built in compressors, like for example the Micro Mono.
Our machines either run on a single phase 240vac 13amp supply or a three phase 415vac 16amp supply. However this can vary depending on design and our sales engineers will advise you if different.
Our machines require a clean, dry and regulated air supply. Consumption varies from machine to machine but can be anywhere from 10lpm to 200lpm at 5bar.
HMI’s stand for human machine interface, in essence its typically a touchscreen display showing the machines functions and allowing full control of the machine from the touch screen. Most of our machines are fitted with HMI’s as standard.
HMI’s are designed to make your production easier, quicker and more accurate. They do this by storing all the settings a modern advanced machine requires to make it function. We do this in what’s called recipes, these store everything from capping torque & speed settings to linear heights or fill calibration. Everything you need to get a product going by simply enabling a program.
